On-device transcription and summaries use Apple Intelligence and require a compatible iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro or newer) with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. On other devices the app still records, plays back, and exports your meetings — the transcript and summary are created on supported hardware.
Everything — audio, transcripts, summaries, and any voice profiles — stays on your device. HuddleNotes has no accounts and contacts no servers. Your data only leaves the device if you export or share it yourself.
Open HuddleNotes and tap “Start meeting,” or use the Lock Screen / Home Screen widget, or ask Siri to “Start a HuddleNotes recording.” Recording continues when your screen is locked.
Yes. Open a meeting, tap Share → “Send to another device,” and AirDrop the .huddle file. On the other device it imports and can be transcribed and summarized there — handy for processing on an iPad.
Open the meeting and tap “Regenerate summary & actions.” Very long meetings are processed in sections; occasionally a passage is skipped, and regenerating usually resolves it. Your recording and transcript are always kept.
Recording laws vary by location. Please record responsibly and follow the laws and consent rules that apply where you are.
